I know it was our B-squad out there, but it's time to hand out final regular season game awards.

Gameballs:
Landry Jones - even though he threw a couple of picks, he recovered the fumble in the endzone, plus the nice TD pass in OT
Hamilton, Avery - showing the Steelers really do know talent at WR
DHB - not giving up on the INT and causing a fumble
Williams - returning to action and knocking some rust off

Goats:
While I'd like to not list Goats considering it was a meaningless game for playoff positioning, but to the fans it meant something
Defense for showing a lack of interest in playing consistently

Actually Landry Jones only had one INT to go with his 3 TD passes. You might be thinking of Ben throwing 2 INT's last week.

Its not a goat, but AV took a step back in pass protection from the past few weeks and Finney also missed a few line stunts in pass protection. Lets hope #78 gets better next week and Pouncey is rested and dominant. Mention too goes to Burns for getting burnt badly while trying to cheat on a weak pump fake. Artie got away with that in college, but cant do that in the NFL.

Damn I feel stupid, I thought I saw 2 INTs! I blame the lack of alcohol.

Goat - O-line
Game Ball - I liked what I seen from Ayers. I have a feeling that kid is gonna be a baller. Seems to have that AB x-factor / confidence

Read some quotes from him, he says he watches AB every day and tries to learn from him. I have no idea what his future will be but I do feel at the very least he'll be a contributor next year or maybe even in the post-season.

Gameballs

  • Laundry Jones - I'll give him credit, he played a nice second half. I'm still not sold on him being a long term answer at backup QB. As an aside, the announcers were speculating that since Jones is a free agent, the Browns may want to take a look at him.
  • Hamilton - beautiful catch at the end of the game to win it.
  • J. Jones - had a real nice game starting. May be his last game starting in the black and gold.
  • Mike Prusuta - great endzone footage of the Hamilton catch (see my link in the gameday thread).
  • Mike Mitchell - the meltdown heard around the social media world. "Oh my goodness gracious."

Goats

  • O-line - my god, they were being pushed back by the Brownies every play.
  • D-line - thin and injured, but they played dreadfully. \
