We're on the road favored by a lot, so it's probably a loss. If I was a gambling man I'd take the bears and the points tbh

Hope I'm wrong but hey the trend is your friend when it comes to betting

Hope you're right but I'm doubtful we can hang 35 on the road with the offense not looking like it's found itself yet. The vikings of course were a good defense, but over the years this team's shown the inability to take the offense on the road. With that said, 3-0 would look really good, so i don't care if they win ugly, I'll be happy if they just win.

Mike Tomlin With Chance To Tie Chuck Noll Sunday

The Pittsburgh Steelers have started many seasons 2-0 before. But 3-0? That is much rarer. If the Steelers beat the Chicago Bears Sunday, they’ll leave Week Three undefeated for the first time since 2010. It’ll mark the third time Mike Tomlin has led his group to a 3-0 start. 2007, his debut season, the other.

Bill Cowher went 3-0 only once. 1992, also his debut season, but never replicating that the rest of his coaching career. And in non-strike shortened seasons, Chuck Noll did it only three times: 1973, 1978, and 1979.

For the record, the Steelers also went 3-0 in 1982, during a strike where they went nine weeks between the second and third game. But that weird season doesn’t really count.

T.J. Watt, Marcus Gilbert out vs. Bears; Stephon Tuitt questionable

After Sunday's game in which he played fewer than two quarters, T.J. Watt said he was “not too worried” about the groin injury that had prevented him from playing longer.

Three days later, the Steelers rookie linebacker said it “wasn't anything serious.”

After missing two full practices, though, Watt was ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago.

Right tackle Marcus Gilbert also will not play. Gilbert has not practiced all week because of a hamstring injury, and he also has been dealing with an illness.

Gilbert will be replaced by Chris Hubbard, who will be making his sixth career start.

2 of 3 Noll 3-0 starts ended in Super Bowls....1 of 2 for Tomlin...maybe he ties Noll 2 of 3 this year. Last (only)time Steelers won in Chicago they went to SB. Too early for all those SB thoughts but it all kind of jumped out at me reading the post.

Watt didn't seem like the injury was that significant. Hopefully we see some Harrison this week. I know Tomlin says he wanted to go with hot hand but I still want to see Harrison worked in. I guess good to let these guys get back to 100% for the rats.

Hoping for a big game tomorrow and the O really starts clicking

Everyone knows how this team has performed against these type of opponents in these type of games the last decade. If you think we are going in to Soldier and win easy you are sadly unaware of this teams ability to constantly play down to poor teams levels. It's just the history folks just the facts.

Yeah, i think the team has heard enough from the media and fans about playing down to the level of opponents. I think there's new focus this year to really get after it. Also, have to believe the team knows by now these games are important if they want home field in the playoffs.

I'll be surprised if they keep making the same mistake of underachieving.

31-10 Steelers.

Until I see the trend of playing down broken, I'm staying with the trend. Also see Watt and Tuitt are out for today.

I'm thinking this is going to be an ugly, penalty marred game. Steelers go up early, but allow Bears to hang around. Steelers take late lead, but allow time on the clock to allow Bears to make a game tying drive in the 4th. Defense comes up on that drive with a turnover.

Steelers 24 Bears 21.

Looks like the Steelers won't be coming out for the Anthem... Not happy about that, I think it would be best to ignore the political crap and just stay the course instead of jumping on the political protesting bandwagon. Trump just had to open his mouth.

Either way I'm not going to let this stupidity ruin football for me. Can't wait for this trend of political protesting to die out though.

On to the Bears.

Ben's accuracy just isn't there. He is having trouble hitting recievers on the hands. Overthrows, under throws...

He definitely doesn't look like the Ben of old. Accuracy issues, and some poor decision making. Hopefully he'll come into form. Offense looking much better on this current drive.
