LAS VEGAS -- After a second jarring upset loss at home, the New England Patriots* are no longer the consensus favorites to win the Super Bowl at Nevada sportsbooks.

The Pittsburgh Steelers sit atop the Westgate SuperBook's odds to win the Super Bowl at 9-2, followed by the Patriots* at 5-1. The Steelers are also Super Bowl favorites at Las Vegas sportsbook operator CG Technology....

Lol until the Steelers can show me they can actually beat Marsha and Billicheat the Pats* are still the proven team to beat...

Marsha has simply owned Ben and the D time after time. Butler will freeze up call a base 3-4 Defense play after play make zero adjustments at half time and Marsha will eat them up. I would love to see it play out otherwise but for the last 15 years it has been pretty lopsided in favor of that bullshit mother fucking team...

Unfortunately have to agree. Hard to see them being the favorite after the Chicago debacle just last week but maybe they're gauging potential. Maybe they're figuring as things are going that maybe Pats* pull a 3 or 4 seed, face KC in KC and lose again.

Caution, there are a lot of ifs to follow but if Steelers D continues to play well when it sees good offenses and the Pats* D continues anywhere nears as bad as it's been, and if the Steelers offense reaches the potential everyone seems to have, maybe they outscore them especially if it would be a Heinz Field playoff game.

2 losses at home already 4 games into the season. Granted they were against some really tough teams, KC and Carolina are no slouches. But still, a team like NE is expected to beat all comers in their house.

As much as I hate to say it, that's true. I think a big part of it, is we need to play them in Pittsburgh. In recent memory, we've actually had decent success vs them in home games, but not a prayer in NE.

Though what has me more optimistic is the upgraded secondary. Haden and Hilton are definite upgrades at the corner spots. QB's seem to be taking longer to find the open man due to the coverage, which is leading to more sacks and turnovers.

You outscore the Patriots*, you have a shot. That is the theme of their two losses and almost a 3rd. Big Ben will need to score 35-40 to beat Brady when they face off. Pats* are the only team I need to see the Steelers beat. Steelers can beat anyone on any given day accept them until I see them do it.

Big Ben will be the beginning and end for the last title of the Big Ben era. if he doesnt execute when it matters, the Steelers will run into a wall they wont be able to go over.

Well in KC's case.. If you have a running back that's averaging over 8 yards a carry, that will win you a lot of games. Even Brady won't be able to keep up when his defense is beat up and gasping for air already in the 3rd quarter.

It's still way early for this it's just interesting to see things as they're unfolding. As always the Pats** don't have a lot of tough opponents: Steelers, Falcons, Broncos, Raiders. It'd be great if the Bills are legit and give them 2 tough games and division competition. The Steelers/Pats** game is big as always and probably will go a long way in deciding if the Steelers would see them at home or up there if there is a playoff game. Really hoping the Steelers offense gets rolling and the D continues to get after QBs. A guy I work with is a Pats** fan. He was telling me the Pats** O-line is so porous it'll be amazing if marcia makes it thru the season intact.

And almost a 3rd loss at home if Cooks doesn't make one of the best catches ever.

They have a terrible defense and a terrible OL at the moment. If they don't improve they won't make the SB.

Obviously, being the team that hasn't lost yet. However, I want to see how well Alex Smith plays when the running game gets shut down.

throw a couple of passes to open the running game back up.

KC's offense with Andy Reid's play calling is on fire right now.

in the Pats* game KC's defense didn't respect the Pats* run game.

the Patriots* slide started late last year. They caught a couple of lucky breaks by catching half our team missing in the AFCCG and the falcons massive choke job in the second half of the SB. With that being said, they and KC are still the teams to beat. Their D might be down but the Offense can still score alot of points. Hoping our offense is cranking at full speed by the time we meet them - we'll need it; our D may or may not be able to hold them under 30.

And hopefully no major injuries/missing players - like last time.
