i'd trade him for a 2nd rd pick in a heart beat , but i doubt anyone would pony up a 2nd for the pot head. might be able to get a 3rd. i guess he doesn't like to compete with brown and juju for ben's attention.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their most comprehensive victory of the season, but one of their top receivers still wants out.
Martavis Bryant recently requested a trade from the AFC North leaders, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported late Sunday, per sources informed of Bryant's request. Rapoport noted that Bryant's teammates and coaches are well aware that the receiver is unhappy. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000862086/article/martavis-bryant-requested-trade-from-steelers

I'm not saying it isn't true, but if I'm not mistaken, Ian Rapoport was the same "journalist" who reported a few years ago that Ben was demanding a trade. I've learned not to trust Rapoport, so I'll withhold judgment until this is confirmed by someone more credible.
Bryant's response ...
Martavis Bryant @ThaBestUNO Big win today and tomorrow right back to work tomorrow I am happy to be a steeler and can't wait to reach number 7 this year.

Can't we get through ONE game this season without a controversy? First it was the anthem. Then Brown's sideline tirade. Then Ben's postgame comments last week. And now this. Sheeeesh.

Seems Bryant's girlfriend was posting on social media adding legitimacy to the claim. I read the Steelers aren't interested in trading him though. Either way, just another stupid distraction this team doesn't need.

The Ravens would want him. It would give their "Elite QB" a target to miss.

I'd thought he was just rusty but if there's any truth to this report then maybe it's been the attitude thing.

If true, it just shows how dumb he is. His first concern should be to find some steadiness in his life. Requesting a trade is the exact opposite of that. That would only be good to get him another suspension.

Martavis Bryant: 'The little bit I get, I just have to make the most of it'
Despite many reports to the contrary, Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant said Monday afternoon that he did not request a trade from the Steelers and is “good to go.” Bryant’s comments came some 14 hours after news broke that he had requested a trade, the result of his unhappiness with his usage in the offense.
“No, I’m good, man,” Bryant said when asked directly if he requested a trade. “Good to go. I’m going to play ball. Finish strong and move on forward.”....
