| I ended up splurging and getting this game since I haven't gotten a new game since Madden came out. This is the first Fallout game I've gotten and I'm definitely struggling with everything going on. The whole cooking things, making things, picking things up, ammo, maps.... everything. I have been walking around a building trying to kill all the raiders for about 30 to 45 minutes now and I have NO clue where to go.
That being said, I am very much enjoying this game. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

That being said, I am very much enjoying this game. I struggled through Fallout 3 and didn't bother with New Vegas. I ended up playing the shit out of Skyrim, which I feel has better prepared me for this game. _________________ Wallace108: Jon, how the hell do you expect any of us to ever follow your posts? That will tell you where to go, and you can choose which quests you're actively playing and it will put up waypoints where you need to go on the map. Just make sure you talk to the different characters, and thoroughly explore all the areas you go to because you will pick up a lot of side quests that way. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | I'm with Yak, this is my first Fallout game and my god it's confusing. I have no idea what to do most of the time and I suck and have to play it on Very Easy. That being said, it's pretty good. _________________ If you expect to play against the Joker, you'd best be prepared to be dealt from the bottom of the deck!

I was trying to follow the way points and map in this warehouse but since there were stairs everything kept changing. Finally I looked and found an elevator which took me to the last room of baddies that I had to kill. It was weird, the more I was drinking last night while playing, the more clarity I had in the game. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| I also don't understand the storage system. I see where I can "transfer" things into things like lockers and even other dead baddies but what would be the point of that? Would I have to go back to that exact locker to get them back if I wanted them? _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| There are some very informative and helpful posts over at the fallout 4 subreddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/fo4 Of course, you have to wade through some other random posts, which are mostly screenshots of various things, but there are a couple of stickied posts at the top with a lot of info.
I haven't had too much time to play it yet, since I had to go out of town from Friday to Sunday, but I'm hoping to dive into it more this week. | |

Yes. Almost all the items in the game have weight to them so you obviously can't carry everything with you. So when you find different weapons and items you want to keep you can store them, and swap them out later. I generally use a suitcase, dresser, safe, or something like that to hold my items that I don't currently want to carry. Right now I keep most of my stuff in Sanctuary Hills where I have my biggest settlement set up. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | Just a heads up (it is for all systems):
Several users have reported a serious game-breaking bug in Bethesda's open-world role-playing game, Fallout 4. As detailed on the Bethesda forums, the bug in question concerns a settlement quest which requires players to head to Monsignor Plaza. Upon attempting to travel there, several players have encountered a game crash straight to the desktop, without an error message.

| How far are you guys into Fallout 4. I haven't even completed the main story yet but I'm working on 5 days worth of time playing it. I've spent so much time tinkering with Power Armors, building settlements, forging armor, etc... I love this game. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. I'm not sure if anything else can be done with him. _________________ Wallace108: Jon, how the hell do you expect any of us to ever follow your posts? You always set the bar awfully high.
