| Why didn't Tomlin challenge the call? That was a TD. He'll challenge something that doesn't matter later I guess. The dirtiest player in the NFL Burfict once again gets away with an obvious penalty. It's not like he hasn';t tried to take AB's head off before. | |

| Conner looks like a man amongst boys. Can't wait to hear the Le'Veon Bell lovers try to bash him after the game and cry about how we need Bell back so badly.
Conner proved last week, and today that Bell is not the reason we've struggled at times. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. I know right? Been way too long since I've heard his name called. Our d-line has got to be more disruptive as a unit. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | Definitely should've challenged the touchdown. Head coaches rely on someone in the booth who is seeing the replays, to tell them whether it is a good challenge or not. Someone gave him bad advice. Can only guess they thought it was "inconclusive."

| Going to be left in the hands of the Defense. For better or worse. | |

| 4th and 2, Bengals defense is the walking wounded... let's kick a field goal.

| Another CB blitz. Another one. Butler is going to fuck this game away. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | There's time for us to drive, but that was a total breakdown by the defense. | |

| And that my friends is why you don't kick a field goal with 3 minutes left in the game. Now we have to get into field goal range, which isn't impossible, but had they scored a touchdown earlier against the walking wounded Bengals defense that hasn't gotten pressure on Ben all day, then this Bengals TD wouldn't of even mattered. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | Holy cow man. This team is going to give me a heart attack.
Happy to be getting out of Cinci with a W but we should've won that more handily. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | A few points from the post game show: - Stan and Charlie were really down on Artie Burns. Stan made reference to a Tweet by Rod Woodson. Rod called out Artie on that non existent coverage, saying you have to cover the goal line and not 2 yards deep. They felt that stuff is cornerback 101.
- Burns was pulled after the PI call on him, and didn't return. Charlie said that is a bad sign when you are pulled in a critical time and you don't return. He feels that the coaching staff may be just about done with him, done with him meaning he slides down the depth chart and has to find a way back to #2.
- They played a clip by JuJu. There were a lot of dirty things the Bengals did that didn't get seen.
- Lots of praise for the offensive line.
- As much as the Steelers won, the Bengals found a way to lose with the holding penality against Dre Kirkpatrick.
Fun fact. When John Stallworth was drafted, Myron Cope was the one from the Steelers organization to call Stallworth.

| What was wonderful is the game was actually aired here in the Tampa market. I finally got to watch the game (most of it) in between laying flooring. Nothing like extending a job which should only take about 2 hours to 4.
This game, IMO, was a must win to prove the first quarter of the season was a fluke. I as impressed with the way the offense responded, although there was times I think they should've been smarter with the play calling instead of looking for the short routes, etc.
Defensively, we still have a long way to go. It seems like some guys are out of their element as well as out of position. _________________ 60 MIN 53 MEN 1 NATION STEELERS NATION I am the MAN that created the MYTH that started the LEGEND Don't choose good when greatness is available!
