| If you would have told me that our D was going to hold the Pats* to 10 points I would have laughed at you... simply shocked.... happy as a pig in shit but stunned it unfolded like it did. | |

| Other than a few plays, Steelers dominated that game. The score should have been more lopsided, but I'm not going to complain. A win against the Patriots* feels good. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass. | |

If we don't include one boneheaded play by Burns, they held them to 3. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.

| Gotta give Tomlin credit this game. He matched wits with Belichick and came out on top. Great game plan! | |

| If we could play like we did this game and the one in Carolina I believe we could win any game. The key for us is to get on top and stay on top by getting in their QB's face all game long.
We did a great job of covering Gronk for a change. What a BIG win.

| I like how the Steelers offense is developing the running game into the aerial assault offense.
Steelers have been sand bagging some this season a lot of different plays they ran against the Patriots*.
what Samuals showed and what we already seen from JUJU Steelers have 2 really strong receivers and Washington could become the third.
this was a strong win for the Steelers but was far from a perfect played game from the Steelers a lot of needed coaching could make this team even better. _________________ The female players "Coach she's to big and strong we can't stop her. coach "hit her in the dick"

Dan Wentzel also says the Patriots** are not done. https://sports.yahoo.com/Patriots**-showing-signs-decline-afc-can-slam-shut-super-bowl-window-205108845.html I think we all know how up and down this team is. I want them to win, but they tempered my expectations by losing to the Broncos, the Chargers, and then the lowly Raiders (who were just beaten by the Bengals...) The Steelers still need to clean up their act. They can't keep doing the disappearing acts of the offense and defense at the times we need them the most. When they're firing on all cylinders they can beat anyone, the problem is everyone being on the same page, at the same time. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | https://nesn.com/2018/12/steelers-beat-Patriots*-fair-and-square-but-these-non-calls-were-awful/ Steelers Beat Patriots* Fair And Square, But These Non-Calls Were Awful - Quote :
- The New England Patriots* lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday because, frankly, they played like crap. There are many things — deplorable run defense, poor quarterback play — that fall under that umbrella, but the point is that New England deserved to lose.
That said, the individuals who officiated the game shouldn’t get off scot-free.
The Patriots* were flagged 14 times for 106 yards at Heinz Field, compared to the Steelers’ four penalties for 40 yards. Most (not all) of New England’s penalties were justified, including the ones that came at the most inopportune times. Again, the Patriots* were not good in this game.
However, there were instances late in the game when Pittsburgh committed blatant penalties that were not called. Furthermore, you could make the case that a couple non-calls in particular ultimately made the difference in a game that was close and competitive throughout. the Massholes are so used to getting the penalties at the critical times of the game that changes the game go their way so if it doesn't happen they'll be whining hard about it. _________________ The female players "Coach she's to big and strong we can't stop her. coach "hit her in the dick"
