| 5th is pretty good for a 3rd String QB. I'll take it. Maybe we can bundle that with another pick and find ourselves a receiver who can actually catch the ball outside of Juju and Washington. _________________ "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." - Jack Lambert RIP to the late great B.B. | so will they sign hodges is the question. i just seen an article that said dobbs was givin the backup job over rudolf. - Quote :
- Dobbs won the No. 2 quarterback job in Pittsburgh over Mason Rudolph, but Rudolph will assume backup quarterback duties with Dobbs off to Jacksonville. A fourth-round pick in the 2017 draft, Dobbs has played five games in his NFL career, going 6 for 12 for 43 yards and an interception.

Fake news. but would you be at surprised ? idiot tomlin tends to favor tenure over talent. that's why the roster is full of 4th and 5th year scrubs that would be out of the league if the steelers didn't keep resigning them. boy that moncrief signing sure was a game changer. and a quick question. does any one have any F'n idea why washington went out of bounds on that deep pass he caught in stride ? his momentum alone should have carried him for another 10 yards while being tackled , yet he turns right out of bounds like there is 5 seconds in the game and the clock needed stopped ...what the fuuuuuu.....

| Good move to trade Dobbs. I'd rather have Rudolph in the game if needed. _________________ Twitter: @SteelersYak

| So I guess we're rolling with 2 QBs? Where is Hodges? Did anyone sign him? I'd like to see him back in the mix. | |

Steelers signed him to the practice squad and signed Jayrone Elliot to the 53.

Steelers signed him to the practice squad and signed Jayrone Elliot to the 53. That sounds like a plan.

I agree with your point, but the article says "Rudolph will assume backup quarterback duties with Dobbs off to Jacksonville." Rudolph was already the backup. Dobbs was inactive Sunday. I assume the writer isn't aware that Rudolph won the job over Dobbs. _________________ If you're going to be a smart ass, you'd better be smart. Otherwise, you're just an ass.
