Really like this guy and glad we have him. I am nervous about the OL but I don't know I've been this happy with Steelers 1-2 picks for a long time.

why drafting RB Harris, TE Feiermuth and G/C Green makes good sense. replacing Conner, McDonald and Pouncey in Canada's offense.

i nailed every position they would take except i had DT instead of DE. i thought they would get a new understudy option for tyson.
funny thing is the first 4 picks were opposite of my prediction. RB ,TE, C, OT...i had OT,C,TE,RB

we now have the biggest punter ever !!! Draft day 2021 - Page 2 1945926454

these picks tell me we are definitely going to see more of Canada's system this year then some thought. people were saying because of Ben it would be a slow roll out. last year Ben was in shotgun 87% of the time. i look for that to be cut down significantly.
Canada uses the 2 TE sets. now we got the 2 TE's. expect to see ebron moving a lot.
Canada runs an outside zone scheme. humphrey doesnt fit that. kendrick green does.

there was a method to the madness that the average fan just doesn't see resulting in our knee jerk reactions to not getting the players that the unqualified "draft experts" have told us are better.

i believe they got the players in the first 4 rounds they had targeted pre draft.

This from a Gerry Dulac article at Post Gazzete. Will they be doing some fake punts if they keep him as their punter this year?

Quote :
They even used their final pick to draft a punter for the first time since Daniel Sepulveda in 2007 — Ray Guy Award winner Pressley Harvin III of Georgia Tech, a stocky 260-pounder who doesn’t just have a strong leg. He averaged 48 yards per punt last season with the Yellow Jackets but was also asked to show off his powerful throwing arm at his pro day. He threw a 43-yard touchdown his junior season that traveled nearly 50 yards in the air.

“He’s a big-legged guy, and when I say that, he has a naturally powerful leg,” Colbert said.

FALSE...he threw it from the 50 and it was caught at the 10 ...according to my calculator that is 40 yards. me thinks Gerry was drunk again.

Well that Oline better hold up or Harris is going to look like a bust and so many Steelers fans will be livid if he doesn't run for 1500+ yards this season...

Hard to fault the team for picking up Harris and Freiermuth they were both areas of need but our Oline is still a very very huge area of concern going in to the new season at this point.

That is funny. I've watched some of his videos. Sometimes he has good points and others he whiffs. There are fairly popular sites where you can find incorrect conclusions from analysis because the experience level is low. If you're not fully comfortable understanding technique or strategy, you could be misinformed from some of the analysis that's being shared. I trust the video analysis from Arthur Moats and a handful of others, but take the rest with a large grain of salt (on my popcorn  Draft day 2021 - Page 2 2893009358 ).

What I like about this guy is that he has team video which often shows plays from angles not seen on t.v. Hell, I usually mute the volume and make my own assessments.

he is definitely a guy that buys in to highlight vids ...so much so he makes his own. Draft day 2021 - Page 2 1797695198 he doesn't seem to get if you can only find two or three clips to use out of a whole game you probably aren't looking at a probowl player. even the guys considered bust and have short careers have their moments.

those different angles , you get that feature with NFL game pass. it's like $50 a year.

Could Shakur Brown or others make an impact? A look at Steelers undrafted free agents
But that doesn’t mean there won’t be a player or two among the eight signings the Steelers announced Saturday who won’t play for them in a meaningful game. Each of the past three years, at least one of their undrafted free agents made the 53-man roster as a rookie: linebackers Ola Adeniyi and Matthew Thomas in 2018, guard Fred Johnson in 2019 and cornerback James Pierre in 2020.

I'll let them high rollers pay the $50 to get the extra film clips ... then turn around and mute their volume as I watch their youtube clips. Gotta cut corners where I can just to offset the Mrs and her Costco and Amazon purchases. no but you can make it say whatever you want .

there is video of jameis winstons 33 tds and a video of winstons 30 INTS. watch the td video and you see a future hall of fame inductee...watch the int one and you see a guy that makes very bad decisions.

he did a video of haskins , and of course he cherry picked the good stuff and painted him with the all upside brush. which is ok , but dont piss on my leg and tell me it raining. Draft day 2021 - Page 2 1797695198

the guy is an optimist. the glass is always half full for him. he said in one video he is college student who aspires to be a football coach. i'm pretty sure as a coach , when putting a roster together you might need to scrutinize the negative shit as much as the positive when your putting the roster together. sometimes the bad out weighs the good Draft day 2021 - Page 2 3135543967

he did a video of haskins , and of course he cherry picked the good stuff and painted him with the all upside brush. which is ok , but dont piss on my leg and tell me it raining. Draft day 2021 - Page 2 1797695198

the guy is an optimist. the glass is always half full for him. he said in one video he is college student who aspires to be a football coach. i'm pretty sure as a coach , when putting a roster together you might need to scrutinize the negative shit as much as the positive when your putting the roster together. sometimes the bad out weighs the good  Draft day 2021 - Page 2 3135543967

simple don't watch, l post just to show the talent these guy have what the coaches have to work with that all the rest it up to the player.

the film part doesn't lie

no but you can make it say whatever you want .

there is video of jameis winstons 33 tds and a video of winstons 30 INTS. watch the td video and you see a future hall of fame inductee...watch the int one and you see a guy that makes very bad decisions.

He'll learn to look at the negatives real quick if he does jump into coaching ... or he'll be asked to not coach at some point. Flag football is a tough business Draft day 2021 - Page 2 1549491426

is this ok to post or does it give a false reality? Draft day 2021 - Page 2 1664291743

looks like a quick guy that has some good basic moves and might develop into a good edge rusher.

A good case study of a transfer portal victim. He should have stayed at Temple and been the man. Instead, he went to Miami where he became one of three starting OLBs. He admits he was "lost in the shuffle" at the U. He's got potential for sure and knowing he was a later pick at a position without much depth, they better coach him up.
